Knowing Your FatherBeing a child is one of the hardest stages in a persons life. They go through and through doing all the wrong things in order to learn how to do the right things, and then they socially develop into a sensible mature adult. During this stage of a young childs life, the roles of parenting are absolutely crucial and determine a childs role that he/she is going to play in society in the future. This is a crucial part of everyones life, they need to learn what they are good at and what they are not good at. In the poem "Those spend Sundays" by Robert Hayden, on that point is a sense that the narrator does not have a special bond with his father when he was a young boy, and that there is a sense of fear toward his father. I feel that in order to grow up and be a morally strong-stable person, you need a well-built kinship with at least one of your parents, if not both. Which was more common back then than now.Growing up in a very suburban townsfolk taught me many things about being a boy and even further into my life as then becoming a young man. I worn-out(a) most of my childhood days running around the desert with my motorcycle, riding in the dirt track I had, or helping my father with whatever project that he had around the house or in the garage with the cars. I used to always come back to him with everything for help and the support that I needed.
